The Respondent received a written reprimand and was placed on an improvement plan after showing signs of intoxication from alcohol and/or other controlled substances while teaching summer school on June 18, 2019. Said written reprimand also included allegations of a pattern of prior concerns that the Respondent exhibited behavior consistent with being under the influence of alcohol and/or controlled substances while at work. On September 12, 2019, the Respondent admitted to consuming wine while on school property and with students present. NPPC recommendation - one-year revocation. State Board decision - changed to two-year revocation.
